          Early life

          Foluke Adeboye was born Foluke Adenike Adeyokunnu on 13 July 1948 to the family of Jacob Adelusi Adeyokunnu, a prince of the royal family of Owa Obokun Oji in Ijeshaland, Osun State, Nigeria.
